With the help of SCIENCE some German volunteer gave birth inside an MRI scanner. Both gross and cool. Since MRIs are pretty dependent on the patient being still, they didn’t get a large amount of images. A stoic pregnant woman just seems kind of insane. Using the images gathered, researchers may be able to uncover the reasoning behind obstructed labor and the movement of the baby during that time.
